Appeal to Hindus to Shop on Diwali, Ajit Pawar Said – Statements Dividing the Society Are Not Acceptable!

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has expressed concern over statements urging Hindus to shop only from Hindu traders during Diwali. He emphasized that such remarks create unnecessary divisions in society and go against the spirit of unity and harmony. Pawar stated that Maharashtra has always been known for its inclusiveness, where people of all religions celebrate festivals together. He urged citizens to focus on celebrating Diwali with joy and togetherness rather than promoting communal differences. According to him, economic and social progress can only be achieved through peace and cooperation among all communities. RD News Network reports that the government will take serious note of any attempts to disrupt social harmony during the festive season.
